Laken Chaney Gudzak
Laken Chaney Gudzak is the Director of Communications for Downtown Vision. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, she has always had a desire to work Downtown. Laken first joined DVI as a summer Marketing and Events Intern and was previously our Marketing and Events Assistant, and our Communications Manager.
As Director of Communications she is primarily responsible for DVI’s online and social media presence, where she aims to promote Downtown Jacksonville as an exciting place to live, work, visit and invest. Aside from developing and curating online communications, Laken is also responsible for managing and updating Downtown Vision’s website. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a focus in public relations from the University of North Florida, where she was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Best Buddies.
Outside of Downtown Vision, Laken runs an Etsy shop in her spare time, and enjoys exploring the state of Florida and many National Parks.
