Eric Miller

Eric Miller is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Downtown Vision, tasked with managing all of DVI’s administrative and programmatic operations. Eric also serves as the organization’s General Counsel, overseeing compliance, contracts and grants, liability management, and other legal functions.  

Eric joined the team in September 2017 and spent seven years focused on leading the Downtown Ambassador Program and implementing DVI’s Stakeholder Support functions prior to moving into the COO role. Prior to DVI, Eric served as the Staff Director for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s Division of Strategic Business Development and as the Assistant Director for the University of West Florida’s Center for Research and Economic Opportunity.

Eric received his law degree from the Florida State College of Law in 2012 and bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics from the University of Miami, Coral Gables in 2009. Eric was included in VOID Magazine’s 35 Under 35 in 2019. He lives right here in Downtown Jacksonville with his wife and two dogs. In his spare time, he and his wife are pursuing the goal to run a race in all 50 states!
