Southbank Riverwalk

Enjoy a stroll along the stunning Southbank Riverwalk every Third Thursday of the month, with beautiful views stretching from Friendship Fountain to Chart House. Take in live music, food trucks and carts, riverside bars, and a relaxed picnic area — all set against a picturesque sunset backdrop.

Alcoholic beverages in branded Sip & Stroll cups are permitted during the event and can be purchased at either of the Riverwalk bars.

Parking

Paid parking is available at Riverplace Tower’s Visitor Lot (1201 Riverplace Blvd.) and at the Chart House Parking lot (1501 Riverplace Blvd.)

Boats

There is plenty of space available along the Southbank Riverwalk for boats to tie-up and dock during Third Thursday Sip & Stroll. The following docks are recommended:

Every Sip & Stroll: Hop aboard The Royal Princess from 5-8 p.m. Grab a drink and take in the views of Downtown Jacksonville from the top deck!

Complete your evening aboard the ship with a one-hour cruise on the St. Johns River from 8–9 p.m. Arrive early and grab a drink from the top deck. The first 15 guests are FREE!

Picnic blankets, lawn chairs and dogs on leashes are welcome. Public restrooms are available. Sorry, no bikes, scooters or skateboards.

Sip & Stroll After Party

The party doesn’t stop once Sip & Stroll is over! Enjoy specialty cocktails on the DoubleTree Deck during Sip & Stroll each month while taking in scenic views of the Downtown skyline, then stick around for the free Silent Disco with Hush Hush from 7 to 11 p.m., in partnership with DoubleTree.

Haskell Food Court

Surrounding the Friendship Fountain roundabout, you’ll find a variety of food trucks and vendors ready to satisfy your dinner cravings. With a rotating lineup of fan-favorite local vendors, the Haskell Food Court is where you’ll grab a bite (or two) for your evening on the riverfront.

Sip & Stroll 2025-26 Programming

April 16: Celebrate National Poetry Month with an evening of spoken word, storytelling and literary magic. At Friendship Fountain, look forward to the musical takeover with Kale James with special performances and artistic flair.

May 21: Get excited for Jazz Fest 2026 with musical programming and special performances along the Southbank Riverwalk.
