Southbank Riverwalk

Enjoy a stroll along the stunning Southbank Riverwalk every Third Thursday of the month, with beautiful views stretching from Friendship Fountain to Chart House. Take in live music, food trucks and carts, riverside bars, and a relaxed picnic area — all set against a picturesque sunset backdrop.

Alcoholic beverages in branded Sip & Stroll cups are permitted during the event and can be purchased at either of the Riverwalk bars.

Want even more variety? Drinks are also available from nearby hotels and restaurants along the Riverwalk.

Parking

Paid parking is available at Riverplace Tower’s Visitor Lot (1201 Riverplace Blvd.) and at the Chart House Parking lot (1501 Riverplace Blvd.)

Boats

During November’s Sip & Stroll Presented by PNC Bank, hop aboard The Royal Princess (Jax Yacht Charter) for a drink from their bar and take in views of Downtown from the top deck.

There is plenty of space available along the Southbank Riverwalk for boats to tie-up and dock during Third Thursday Sip & Stroll. The following docks are recommended:

Picnic blankets, lawn chairs and dogs on leashes are welcome. Public restrooms are available. Sorry, no bikes, scooters or skateboards.

The party doesn’t stop once Sip & Stroll is over! Enjoy specialty cocktails on the DoubleTree Deck during Sip & Stroll each month while taking in scenic views of the Downtown skyline, then stick around for the free Silent Disco with Hush Hush from 7 to 11 p.m., in partnership with DoubleTree.

Feb. 19: Step into style with Kollect Jax; runway looks, bold fashion and exclusive Downtown merch drops.


March 19:
Welcome the season with Sip & Stroll into Spring, featuring a spring celebration with gardening and floral-focused programming.

April 16: Celebrate National Poetry Month with an evening of spoken word, storytelling and literary magic.

May 21: Honor Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month with cultural showcases and performances curated by Grace Bio Art and CJ Bautista.
