First Wednesday Art Walk 20th Anniversary
For the past two decades, Art Walk has been a long-standing monthly event and has attracted more than half a million visitors to Downtown Jacksonville. It has become a favorite event for artists and art lovers alike and actively promotes the community’s arts and culture. What first began with fewer than 10 venues in 2003 has grown into a beloved recurring event featuring more than three dozen participating businesses and galleries, along with artists, food trucks, live music, performances, and more each month.
The Jacksonville community is encouraged to attend and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of First Wednesday Art Walk all year long. Visitors are recommended to shop locally with artists in James Weldon Johnson Park, dine at nearby downtown restaurants, and visit participating businesses and galleries in Downtown Jacksonville. The next Art Walk will take place on October 4, 2023, from 5-9 p.m.
