Downtown Vision Inc. (DVI), Downtown Jacksonville’s Business Improvement District (BID), announced their ninth annual #DTJax Award Winners. The #DTJax Awards honor and celebrate the community leaders, businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs, and projects that contribute to the transformation and vibrancy of Downtown Jacksonville. The #DTJax Award winners consistently demonstrate their commitment creating and supporting a safe, clean and dynamic Downtown Jacksonville.
Downtown Ambassador of the Year: Potrena Jones
Downtown Ambassador Potrena Jones was nominated by Ambassador Operations Manager, Jason Hatley, for her all-around performance, friendliness and passion to keep Downtown clean. After joining the Ambassador team, Jones quickly proved to be a dedicated member, tackling high traffic areas in Downtown and taking on additional responsibilities to assist her coworkers. She is a valued member of the team and is the embodiment of work ethic and consistency. Jones is a proud mother and grandmother, and is a true asset to Downtown Jacksonville.
This award honors a Downtown Ambassador who continually goes above and beyond in their work to advance the mission of the Downtown Ambassador Program, to keep Downtown a clean, safe, and hospitable environment.
