2025 DTJax Awards Winners
Downtown Vision (DVI), Downtown Jacksonville’s non-profit Business Improvement District (BID) announced the 11th annual DTJax Award Winners. The DTJax Awards recognize community leaders, organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs who in 2025 worked to create a vibrant and dynamic 24-hour, pedestrian friendly Downtown. Award winners are not only excellent advocates for Downtown, but have also shown their dedication by supporting economic revitalization efforts, creating jobs, operating beloved amenities, and maintaining a clean and safe DTJax.
DTJax Awards 2025: Ambassador of the Year | Trai Robinson
The Ambassador of the Year Award for 2025 was presented to Trai Robinson. A Jacksonville native, Robinson is a graduate of Andrew Jackson Senior High School and proudly followed in his father’s footsteps by serving four years in the United States Air Force. He is a devoted family man to his wife, Jessica, and their two children, De Trai and Annayah.
Robinson exemplifies an outstanding work ethic, demonstrating punctuality and dependability every single day. He approaches each task with a positive, can-do attitude and is always ready and willing to assist wherever needed. His unwavering commitment and reliability set a high standard and makes him a valued and respected member of the team.
Downtown Jacksonville’s Ambassadors play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and inclusive environment where the community can thrive. Their responsibilities range from removing litter and addressing quality-of-life concerns, to providing directions or escorting visitors, and offering outreach and support to individuals experiencing homelessness. These Ambassadors serve as a cornerstone of the Downtown Jacksonville community.
