2025 DTJax Awards
Downtown Vision (DVI), Downtown Jacksonville’s non-profit Business Improvement District (BID) announced the 11th annual DTJax Award Winners. The DTJax Awards recognize community leaders, organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs who in 2025 worked to create a vibrant and dynamic 24-hour, pedestrian-friendly Downtown. Award winners are not only excellent advocates for Downtown, but have also shown their dedication by supporting economic revitalization efforts, creating jobs, operating beloved amenities, and maintaining a clean and safe DTJax.

Downtown Project of the Year: Union Terminal Warehouse

The Downtown Project of the Year Award was presented to Union Terminal Warehouse. This transformative $73 million investment reimagined a former dry goods distribution center into a vibrant mixed-use destination featuring 228 loft-style apartments north of Downtown Jacksonville. The newly renovated property also includes 43 office spaces designed for small businesses, a coffee shop, a dining venue and 11 flexible-use spaces.

The renovation thoughtfully introduced modern amenities while preserving and celebrating the historic character embedded in the original structure. Builders envisioned Union Terminal Warehouse as a place that brings people together—where colleagues can discuss business ideas over coffee, local dining concepts can flourish, and residents can return home to unwind and recharge in inspiring shared third spaces.

Union Terminal Warehouse stands as a significant asset to Downtown Jacksonville, fueling community growth by creating opportunities for new businesses, residential expansion, and easily accessible shared spaces that foster connection and vitality.

Winners were celebrated on November 13th, 2025, at The Lark in Downtown Jacksonville. The 2025 DTJax Awards were made possible by First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, VyStar Credit Union, Steve & Betsy Crosby, the Downtown Investment Authority and Visit Jacksonville.
