2025 DTJax Awards
Downtown Vision (DVI), Downtown Jacksonville’s non-profit Business Improvement District (BID) announced the 11th annual DTJax Award Winners. The DTJax Awards recognize community leaders, organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs who in 2025 worked to create a vibrant and dynamic 24-hour, pedestrian-friendly Downtown. Award winners are not only excellent advocates for Downtown, but have also shown their dedication by supporting economic revitalization efforts, creating jobs, operating beloved amenities, and maintaining a clean and safe DTJax.
Downtowner of the Year | Bryan Moll
The Downtowner of the Year Award was presented to Bryan Moll, Principal of Gateway Jax development partnership. Moll is regarded for leading and overseeing the growth of Gateway Jax’s business operations, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of the company’s transformative city development projects. From an early age, Moll demonstrated a passion for building—experimenting with LEGO blocks and SimCity—which has since evolved into pioneering foundational projects aimed at revitalizing Downtown Jacksonville.
With more than 20 years of experience in real estate development, Moll has contributed to major projects such as the $3.5 billion Water Street redevelopment district in downtown Tampa and the multibillion-dollar Amazon HQ2 National Landing site near Washington, D.C. These accomplishments represent just a portion of the qualifications that make him an exceptional candidate for the Downtowner of the Year Award.
Currently, Moll is spearheading the expansion of a high-rise on the N7 block of Pearl Square, a $148 million development that will introduce a full-service Publix to Downtown Jacksonville along with significant new residential density. This project is expected to generate approximately $2 million in annual property tax revenue for the City of Jacksonville. These efforts are to improve food security within the bounds of downtown, as well as transforming a previously non-tax paying property into a financial asset for the city.
Winners were celebrated on November 13, 2025 at The Lark in Downtown Jacksonville. The 2025 DTJax Awards were made possible by First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, VyStar Credit Union, Steve & Betsy Crosby, the Downtown Investment Authority and Visit Jacksonville.
