2025 DTJax Awards

Downtown Vision (DVI), Downtown Jacksonville’s non-profit Business Improvement District (BID) announced the 11th annual DTJax Award Winners. The DTJax Awards recognize community leaders, organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs who in 2025 worked to create a vibrant and dynamic 24-hour, pedestrian-friendly Downtown. Award winners are not only excellent advocates for Downtown, but have also shown their dedication by supporting economic revitalization efforts, creating jobs, operating beloved amenities, and maintaining a clean and safe DTJax.

DTJax Awards 2025: Retail Project of the Year | Pour Taproom and Pizza Dynamo

The Retail Project of the Year Award was presented to Pour Taproom and Pizza Dynamo. Opened to the public in the first week of June 2025, the debut of these businesses marked an exciting milestone for the Downtown Jacksonville community. Owner Tony Draper, transitioning from a successful corporate career, ventured into entrepreneurship to launch the innovative self-pour taproom.

Located next door, Pizza Dynamo—owned by Jeremy Gatto—is a New York–style pizzeria distinguished by its use of organic ingredients, including flour, tomatoes, and cheese. Together, the establishments offer inviting indoor and outdoor seating areas and vibrant bar spaces, making them a valuable addition to the ever-growing Downtown Jacksonville scene.

With a combined new building project investment of $3 million, this development has been warmly welcomed by the community, attracting a steady influx of patrons while generating meaningful economic and financial benefits for the city.

Winners were celebrated on November 13, 2025 at The Lark in Downtown Jacksonville. The 2025 DTJax Awards were made possible by First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, VyStar Credit Union, Steve & Betsy Crosby, the Downtown Investment Authority and Visit Jacksonville.
