Have you noticed the fencing outside MOCA Jacksonville?
Something major is taking shape on Laura Street! Created specifically for MOCA Jacksonville’s 100th anniversary, Jacksonville Stacked Stars is the final major work by legendary artist Frank Stella (1936–2024). Soon, this monumental sculpture will be installed along the sidewalk outside the museum for all who pass by to enjoy.
As one of only three public installations of its kind, alongside works at Hudson Yards and MoMA in Manhattan, we’re looking forward to the bold new addition to City Center’s streetscape!
