Did you know that Jacksonville’s first skyscraper, the Bisbee Building (part of the Laura St. Trio), was erected in 1909 and stands at a modest 10 stories? Today, Downtown’s tallest skyscraper, the Bank of America Building, soars 42 stories high, reaching a height of 617 feet into the sky.
