DVI Updates
DTJax Parklet Debut!
Monday, October 24, was the ribbon cutting for the first parklet in DTJax and the launch of the DTJax Parklet Program. Located outside of The Brick Coffee House, this new addition to #DTJax provides seating, shade, bike racks and will improve the street for local businesses, residents and visitors.
Thank you to all the parklet partners who have worked on the program and the first parklet for the last few months: Downtown Investment Authority, ULI North Florida, Windmill Consulting, Content Design Group and TransForm Jax.
For inquiries regarding the parklet program, contact Jennifer Hewett-Apperson.
Trick or Treat on the Street in #DTJax
Halloween falls on a Monday this year and we want to celebrate with Downtown employees wearing their best costumes for our 4th Annual Trick or Treat on the Street during lunch time on Monday, Oct. 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participating businesses and restaurants will be set up either inside or outside their storefronts handing out candy, coupons and other promotional goodies. Grab a costume, a friend and be sure to partake in this sweet treat!
More information and a PDF of the map can be found here.
