Looking for fun activities to celebrate the Fourth of July? #DTJax is ready to make this year’s Independence Day celebration one to remember! Check out all of the festivities happening in Downtown Jacksonville this year below!


Start the Fourth with a Bang

The City of Jacksonville is ready to make #DTJax shine! COJ is putting on a fireworks show for the entire community! This year, fireworks will be launched from five locations throughout Jacksonville on July 4, 2023, beginning at 9:45 p.m. 

Fireworks will be launched from the following locations throughout various communities:
Downtown Jacksonville
Highlands – Ray Greene Park (park will be closed for the launch)
The Avenues Mall
Trinity Baptist Church
Ed Austin Regional Park

July 3, 2023: 6:05 p.m. at 121 Financial Ballpark (Gates open at 4:30 p.m.)

July 4, 2023, from 6-10 p.m. at 715 Riverside Ave.

Looking for an awesome view of the fireworks show in #DTJax? Choose to see the views from under the bridge at the Riverside Arts Market! There will also be live music, dancing and a variety of food trucks. If you are looking for a unique spot and a good time–this is the place!

Take in the Fireworks from the MOSH Rooftop

July 4, 2023, from 8-10:30 p.m. at 1025 Museum Cir. 

Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Museum of Science and History! Enjoy food, drinks, music and some of the best views of the City of Jacksonville fireworks show on the Southbank!

Fireworks Cruise Along the St. Johns

Step into the city on July 5th and celebrate Independence Day at First Wednesday Art Walk.
