Kids just wanna have fun! This upcoming summer season, enroll the kiddos into a camp where they’ll grow their creativity, learn new skills and have fun all at once. Keep reading for the best places to cultivate creativity this summer!
Summer Camp @ MOCA: June 5 – August 4, 2023
Join MOCA Jacksonville for seasonal art camps for kids full of creativity! Kids will make new friends and learn art techniques in a variety of media through hands-on learning in a fun and engaging environment. Time will be spent exploring exhibitions in the galleries, creating in the studios, and learning through practice. With the guidance of museum educators, kiddos are empowered to problem solve through critical thinking, observation, and creative self-expression. Daily camps are available for students in K-8th grade.
Themed weekly camp sessions are available for ages 6-14 throughout the summer. Before care and after care options are available.
MOSH Summer Discovery Camp 2023: June 12 – August 4, 2023
One-Day, Fun-Day Camp: MOSH offers camp on days that students are out of school! Enroll your kids for an exciting day of experiments and crafts. They’ll explore topics like weather, space, temperature, and electricity. Join MOSH on May 29th.
K – 8th Grade: Can You Dig It? Have you ever wondered what the difference between Archeology and Paleontology is? Students are invited to join MOSH in discovering what there is to find buried beneath our feet. They’ll learn how to map excavation sites, make fossil casts, and determine what makes a fossil stand the test of time.
High School Summer Discovery Camp: This is MOSH’s new camp program for students in 9–11th grade! This program allows students to join the fun of summer camp in the morning and volunteer at MOSH in the afternoon. Students can earn up to 30 hours of volunteer time during the two-week camp.
Jacksonville Children’s Chorus Summer Day Camp: June 5-9, 2023
The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus Summer Day Camp is now open for registration! Rising 4th through 8th graders are invited to spend summer days with music, choral singing, and dance from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 9.

The Cummer Museum Classes
Learn a new skill with your little ones! The Cummer Museum has scheduled five youth to adult workshops from April to June. These classes include Storyteller Mornings, Make & Take Tuesday- Etching, Embroidery Workshop for Youth & Adults, and more. Spend a day at the museum with your kiddos and enjoy the arts and the outdoors in Downtown!
