Combining a history of printmaking as a tool for amplifying stories with a Downtown Jacksonville full of stories to tell, printmaking artists Elai Rodney and Rion O will lead a series of interactive printmaking workshops and lectures hosted by community leaders, developing a space for personal expression, collective exhibition, shared learning, and community care. The public is invited to Main Street Park to learn the oral histories of Jacksonville past, inspiring original artwork made through hands-on printmaking methods taught by the lead artists.
Experience public space as it has historically existed: a shared learning and creative environment, free of judgement, open to all.
