Guests were invited to experience the opulence of the Belle Époque in #DTJax and were transported to the glittering world of 19th-century Paris, brimming with Duval decadence and a touch of mystery as we raised funds for PlacemakingJax. Attendees enjoyed captivating entertainment — including soulful sounds by Ramona + the RIOT and a Hush Hush Jax Silent Disco, extravagant bites from some of Downtown’s finest restaurants, free flowing libations, The Planner 360 photo booth, a silent auction, complimentary valet and much more.

About PlacemakingJax
Proceeds from the #DTJax Gala benefit the PlacemakingJax placemaking initiative to turn passive spaces into active public places. PlacemakingJax is a highly collaborative process for the people of Jacksonville (Jaxsons) to engage in the creation of pop-up activations or large-scale interventions in Downtown Jacksonville to transform underused public spaces into celebrated community places. PlacemakingJax is facilitated by Downtown Vision and funded in part by the #DTJax Gala held each February.
