This event was created to showcase photographic arts by local artists. The Jax Photo Festival showcased collections from diverse artistic styles and perspectives, ultimately celebrating artistic innovation by pushing traditional boundaries. Artists came together with the opportunity to network, fellowship, and collaborate.
Malcolm Jackson is an award-winning artist and photographer, who is currently based in Jacksonville, Florida. Malc uses photography as a bridge to connect the viewer to the realities of life for the common person in the 21st century. He uses street photography as his practice as a way to focus on race, class, identity, and community figures, in editorial commercial or fine art fields.
