Block Skate Supply Partnership
PlacemakingJax has partnered with The Block for three years, fostering creative skate activations in Downtown Jacksonville. In its first year, the team developed a mobile kit to activate underutilized parking lots. In year two, they became the first to activate the new Artist Walk Skate Park. Now, in their third year of collaboration, the team continues to host and expand a series of activations at the skate park, solidifying their role as stewards of this new public space, developed in partnership with the City of Jacksonville Parks Department.
