Desert Rider Sandwich Shop, a cherished gem in Downtown, has graced 217 Hogan St. with its presence for nearly two decades. The original Desert Rider, situated on Forsyth St., first welcomed diners to Downtown in 1969. Since its inception, this spot has been a regular spot for locals seeking daily breakfast, sandwiches and of course, Desert Riders — pitas filled with ham, salami, cheese, Rider sauce, vinaigrette, lettuce tomatoes and peppers.
