2022 #DTJax Awards Winners
Downtown Vision (DVI), Downtown Jacksonville’s non-profit Business Improvement District (BID) announced yesterday the eighth annual #DTJax Award Winners. The #DTJax Awards recognize community leaders, organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs who in 2022 worked to create a vibrant and dynamic 24-hour, pedestrian friendly Downtown. Award winners are not only excellent advocates for Downtown, but have also shown their dedication by supporting economic revitalization efforts, creating jobs, operating beloved amenities, and maintaining a clean and safe #DTJax.
Retail Project of the Year: Ruby Beach Brewing
When Jacksonville Beach was settled in the late 1800s, it was originally known as Ruby Beach. As a nod to this history and originally located at the beach, Ruby Beach Brewing moved to Downtown Jacksonville in 2021 following the full renovation of their 100-year-old building with the support of the Downtown Investment Authority and Petra Management. The new location serves unique and inspired craft beers—everything from sours to barrel-aged stouts—using locally sourced ingredients, and supports distribution and retail efforts. Their outdoor patio, lawn area and second-floor space allows Ruby Beach to host events from markets to birthday parties to weddings and offers a welcoming social environment for all.
The Downtown Retail Project of the year recognizes a new retail project that has created an amenity for Downtown residents, employees and visitors through remarkable design and unique offerings.

Winners were celebrated on November 29, 2022 at The Lark in Downtown Jacksonville.
