The City of Jacksonville invites residents and visitors to pay tribute to our military, past and present, at the 2025 Veterans Day Parade presented by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. The parade will be held on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, at 11:01 a.m. in Downtown Jacksonville.

The parade will feature Mayor Donna Deegan; Honorary Grand Marshal Colonel Len Loving, US Marine Corps, and Mrs. Francis Loving: and Grand Marshal Padraic “Pat” Mulvhill. In addition, the parade will feature senior military officials, active-duty and retired military units, veteran groups, local school groups, decorative floats, and more.

The 2025 Veterans Day Parade presented by the Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. begins on Water Street in front of the Jacksonville Center of the Performing Arts and will make a left turn onto Hogan St. The parade will then continue east on Bay St until it reaches Lot X. The 2025 route is approximately 1.11 miles in length and will last approximately 2 hours.

Parade spectators are encouraged to gather safely downtown and show their support by wearing red, white, and blue and waving flags. The parade can be viewed from multiple places along Water Street, Hogan Street, and Bay Street.

The Veterans Day Parade is a rain-or-shine event. Please note that safety is our highest priority. Should severe weather conditions pose a risk, we will issue public notifications regarding any necessary changes.

There will be multiple street closures in effect along the parade route. These will include both hard road closures and soft rolling closures, with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office managing traffic control at each intersection.

Only events occurring within Downtown Jacksonville will be accepted.
