Community Conversation: The Future of Energy and the JEA Coal Plant

About

On January 25, community members are invited to a public conversation about the JEA coal plant and what it means for Jacksonville’s energy future. This 90-minute session will explore issues of climate responsibility, public accountability, and transparency in local energy decision-making. Building on insights from a recent Sierra Club press conference, the discussion will focus on how residents can stay informed and thoughtfully engage with JEA around public input and the eventual closure of the coal plant. No prior attendance is required; all are welcome.
