Giovanni is widely considered to be one of the greatest hand percussionists of all time, known for revolutionizing the art of conga playing. Born in Puerto Rico, he’s performed with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Phish, Mickey Hart, Zakir Hussain, Paul Simon, and Carlos Santana. His unmatched speed, precision, and deep rhythmic knowledge have made him a true ambassador of Afro-Caribbean music, and we’re honored to welcome him to our stage.
