MERCH WORKSHOP
Aside from performing, a musician makes money through selling merchandise. Merchandise is anything branded with the band’s visual identity, including but not limited to recorded music and t-shirts. Not only can merchandise boost your income, it’s also a wonderful marketing campaign. By selling wearables with a band or artist name, an artist can essentially create a street team of fans. In this workshop, we will provide up to 12 bands with 25 blank shirts each. The goal of this workshop is to provide bands with merch to sell at the upcoming shows and online, so that they can raise their own funds for future endeavors. Attending this workshop will provide bands with knowledge and ideas for making their own merchandise should they choose to go a DIY route.
