Join Jax Parks for an engaging and educational stroll along Jacksonville’s Downtown Riverwalk! Discover the rich, dynamic ecosystem thriving right in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. As we walk along the scenic banks of the St. Johns River, Park Ranger Jason will highlight all the varieties of plant species along our Riverwalk, pointing out both the native plantings, along with the invasives that have washed up along our banks. Join us on this tour to get a little exercise in, and to learn the crucial role plant life plays in protecting our river’s water quality, supporting native wildlife, and maintaining shoreline stability!
