The Florida Mega Adoption Event is BACK! Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) is proudly joining forces with Petco Love, a national non-profit working to lead and inspire change for animals, BOBS from Skechers™, and animal welfare groups across the state of Florida on a shared mission to find homes for 2,000 dogs and cats in shelters from nearly 50 organizations across the state of Florida. All pets will be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

On June 28 and 29, JHS will join Jacksonville Animal Care & Protective Services and nine other area shelters for a regional adoption event at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Hundreds of animals from each of these organizations will be available for adoption at this regional location, and adoption fees are waived! Additionally, on June 30 all pets at JHS will be free to adopt as part of this special adoption event.

Locally, pets will be available at the following locations:

Regional Adoption Event: Jacksonville Fairgrounds (510 Fairground Pl, Jacksonville, FL): June 28 and 29, 10am – 6pm each day
Petco Marsh Landing Store (950 Marsh Landing Pkwy #145, Jacksonville FL): June 28 – 30, during store hours
JHS Adoption Center (8464 Beach Blvd): June 30, 10am – 5pm. JHS is closed on June 28 and 29.
The event is funded by a lifesaving investment from Petco Love, in partnership with BOBS from Skechers™, for the Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) and is facilitated by JHS’s Florida Leaders in Lifesaving program.
