About
Winterland is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization run by working musicians eager for sustainability and equality within the music industry. Winterland is on the forefront of cultural change in the city of Jacksonville, helping to build a promising future for working class creatives. Winterland is a grassroots festival run by artists for artists and music lovers of all kind. We put an emphasis on eco-friendly habits and uplifting the Jacksonville community, partnering with local non-profit organizations and local artists for an impactful weekend of music, art, and eats. A staple Jacksonville event that continues to build a creative ecosystem where musicians and artists can network and inspire each other.
Will the festival still be free and open to the public?
A majority portion of the festival will be free and open to the public. There will however be a privacy fence around the main stage that may impede the vision line for anyone who hasn’t purchased a Music Access Pass. There will be bars, bathrooms, and activations on both sides of the fence, but only those with a Music Access Pass can go freely between. Buying a Music Access Pass is a way that you can directly support our efforts to bolster the creative economy in Jacksonville!
Will you be looking for volunteers this year?
Yes. If you have never volunteered for Winterland, follow us on social media. When we’re looking for new volunteers we’ll put a call out! If you are a habitual volunteer, thank you, we will send you an email when we’re looking to fill festival posts.
Can we bring chairs and coolers?
One of our favorite things about Winterland is posting up with a blanket and chairs and spending the weekend discovering new music! We certainly encourage everyone to bring a means to get cozy, but space will be limited in the park. Greenspace will be first come first serve and we encourage blankets over chairs. Please no coolers.
