Jacksonville Light Boat Parade and Fireworks This Saturday 

The annual Jacksonville Light Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at 6 p.m. on the St. Johns River. Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. Johns River. Book a cruise with the St. Johns River Taxi for an up close view of the event.

Drive Through Christmas Decor in the Historic Cathedral District

Every night from Nov. 27-Dec. 31, 2020, visitors can drive through the Cathedral District for a self-guided tour of Downtown Jacksonville’s historic churches & landmark buildings, illuminated with thousands of lights. Enjoy audio narration as well as music by the Jacksonville Symphony while you savor this first-of-its-kind experience. Learn more.

Sweet Pete’s Candy Cane Classes 

Looking for a family friendly holiday activity? Only at Sweet Pete’s can you watch the age-old tradition of creating hand-made candy canes. Ages 4 and up are welcome to join in on this sweet adventure. All guests will shape canes to take home for their snacking pleasure. Learn more.

Save the Date: Small Business Saturday

November 28, 2020 is Small Business Saturday, an annual celebration of all things local.

This Small Business Saturday, we will be hosting a QR code hunt in the Eventzee App, similar to our Halloween Hunt for Halloweek. Participants will seek out 5 QR codes at participating Downtown businesses for a chance to win a $20 #DTJax e-Gift Card.

How to Play:
1. Download the Eventzee App.
2. Create an account.
3. On Saturday 11/28, enter the join code: SHOPSMALL
4. Scan 5 codes at participating businesses. The first 100 players to scan 5 QR codes will receive a #DTJax e-Gift Card via email the week of November 30th.
