The iconic rivalry between the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs is coming back to Downtown Jacksonville! In preparation for the Florida vs. Georgia game, Downtown Jacksonville has plenty of activities happening before, during and after the game to celebrate one of the longest college football rivalries!
Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs History

The Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldog rivalry spans across many years. The rivalry began in the early 1900s and the two teams have been playing against each other since 1926. The annual game between Florida and Georgia has been held in Jacksonville since 1933. There will be two Florida vs. Georgia games taking place in Downtown Jacksonville, a baseball game on Friday, October 27th and a football game on Saturday, October 28th.

The Florida vs. Georgia baseball game is happening on Friday, October 27th and taking place at 121 Financial Ballpark. The exhibition game begins at 6:30 p.m. and then is followed by a 90s after party featuring various musical artists.

The Florida vs. Georgia football game is happening on Saturday, October 28th and taking place at Everbank Stadium. Come early to join in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party fun with the many tailgaters surrounding the stadium. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

The JTA Skyway will be running all weekend long! The rides are free and offer various drop-off spots in Downtown Jacksonville. A few stations offer parking if you’d like to park and then ride the Skyway.

Take the scenic route to Florida vs. Georgia game by riding on the St. Johns River Taxi. The St. Johns River Taxi loops every 30-40 minutes and offers roundtrip wristbands with purchase before the event.

All Inclusive Tailgating Experience

If you’re looking for a tailgating experience before the game on Saturday, October 28th then check out the All Inclusive Tailgating Experience presented by Bud Light! The tailgate will start at 11:30 a.m. and last till 3:30 p.m. when the football game starts. The location of the tailgate is a 40,000 square foot grass parking lot and is about a 5-10 minute walk from Everbank Stadium. Enjoy food, live music, an open bar, tented areas and more!
