Jacksonville Jazz Fest
The 40th Annual Jacksonville Jazz Fest kicks off this week, bringing live jazz to the heart of Downtown all weekend long. This Wednesday, stop into the Florida Theatre for the Jacksonville Piano Competition. Then Friday-Sunday, stop by the stages at Riverfront Plaza and Ford on Bay for FREE musical performances. MOCA Kids Art Lab
Bring the kids down to MOCA for a spooky science experiment to celebrate the Halloween season. The fun, art-making experience is for ages 6-10 and focuses on how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) all interact with one another. Attendees will visit the galleries to see how artists are inspired by STEAM topics and create their own artwork. Learn more.

Art Walk is Next Week!
Downtown Jacksonville Art Walk is returning to #DTJax on Wednesday, October 6th. This art-centered, community-building event will be returning with the same tried and true schedule, the first Wednesday of every month, from 5-9 p.m. rain or shine! Explore the main hubs: James Weldon Johnson Park, The Jessie, The VyStar Breezeway and stop into your favorite businesses along the way!
